Erünsal, who stated that he grew up in a very disciplined family, said, “The focus of our lives has always been working. The fact that my father is an academic may have had a big impact on this. Therefore, my ability to easily adapt to business life and work in difficult conditions comes from the culture of discipline that I have been in since my childhood. On the other hand, I learned many moral values ​​such as the concepts of rights and law, the equal respect I show to everyone in human relations, listening to people, gaining a sense of responsibility, and apologizing when necessary by seeing and experiencing them in my family from a young age.”

“Companies that lag behind the transformation will fall behind their competitors who can use technology better”

Referring to the subject of digital transformation, Erüsal said, “The business world has undergone a major transformation in technology in the last decade. Many tools we used before have now been integrated into technological devices, and technology has become not just a part of our business but an indispensable main element. For example, even a small interruption in internet connection today can disrupt all processes. This transformation will continue unabated, even accelerated, and companies that fall behind this transformation will fall behind their competitors who can use technology better. We have seen many examples of this in the world; some companies have been wiped out of their sectors because they could not adopt technology at the right time and in the right way.

As artificial intelligence applications, which are an important step in this development, continue to develop, the mastery of technological details by decision makers in the business world will become even more important. So how do we manage this transformation at Penta Technology? Drawing attention to young managers, Erünsal said, “When we look at recent years in particular, you can see that in successful start-ups or technology companies, people are now reaching upper echelons or good positions at very young ages. Being open to change, being agile and knowing where to access information have become very important issues regardless of age, and research on talent management tells us that professionals with these characteristics will be more successful in their jobs. I see that managers or companies that are against this have a hard time. If you can use resources effectively, you can have better information than experts who have received training in this field and you can benefit from this information to achieve success in your business life. From this perspective, age is no longer a criterion or measure. What is important is how well the person knows their job, how much effort they put in to realize their potential and how well they can meet the expectations and current needs in the job description.
