Arsenal collapsed at Porto by losing in injury time

Arsenal lost 0-1 at Porto in the first leg of the 1/8 round of the Champions League due to a goal in the 90+4 minute. The scorer who brought victory to the home team was Galeno.

Arsenal is playing sublimely in the Premier League, but coach Arteta’s team appears to be inexperienced in the Champions League as this is the first time in 7 years that the “Gunners” have appeared in the 1/8 round of the Champions League. Arsenal played poorly on Porto’s field despite controlling the ball better than the opponent.

According to statistics, Arsenal controlled the ball 62% of the time, launched 7 shots in the whole match and not once did the ball hit the opponent’s goal. Porto, with 38% possession of the ball, played solidly, the home team had 6 shots and the ball hit the goal 2 times.

Although Porto did not have many shots, they had the brilliance of Galeno in the 4th minute of injury time with a long-range shot into the goal. With a 1-0 win at home, Porto will have a slight advantage before moving to London as a guest in the second leg.
