On Saturday (June 29) around 8 pm, Pangsha Model Police Station reported this information. They were arrested from the mahogany garden of Fazlul Haque in Bahladanga Paschimpara, Panshar on the basis of secret information.
The arrested are – Pangsha Upazila Mustard Union Bahladanga Paschimpara Md. Son of Anat Ali Sheikh. Sajal Sheikh (26), son of deceased Hanef aka Pukair Nazmul (25) of Khamardangi, Md. of Bagharchar. Ibadat Ali’s son Hafizur Rahman (21), of the same area. Son of Jahangir Mondal. Maruf Hossain (21) and Behladanga Dakshinpara. Son of Siraj Mia. Arif Mia (23).
According to the police, several officers of Pangsha Model Police Station arrested five robbers while preparing to rob Fazlul Haque’s mahogany garden in Sangiya area. At this time, 8/9 robbers fled after sensing the presence of the police. A Chinese ax, a chapati, a knife, three hammers and 2 iron pipes were recovered from the spot.
Pangsha Model Police Station OC Swapan Kumar Majumdar confirmed the truth of the incident and said that a case has been filed against the arrested accused in the police station and they have been sent to court.
