In his message, Army Chief of Staff General Maruli emphasized the existence of great responsibility behind every increase in authority/success achieved by a person.
“Great Power Comes With Great Responsibility. For that reason, I hope that officers who are promoted can continue to innovate and adapt to the dynamics of future tasks, and continue to improve their quality to carry out their duties as optimally as possible,” said the Army Chief of Staff as quoted by SINDOnews from the Dispenad press release, Thursday (5/9/2024).
KSAD also did not forget to congratulate the Patis who were promoted. He also reminded that this promotion is not just an appreciation for performance and dedication, but also a reflection of greater responsibility in devotion to the nation, the country, and the institution of the TNI.
The Army Chief of Staff also highlighted the importance of self-management within the Indonesian Army, including in the procurement of personal equipment, operational vehicles, and improving members’ living facilities.
“Your thoughts and innovations are very much needed for the progress of the TNI, especially the Indonesian Army,” said the Army Chief of Staff.
52 Pati TNI AD officially received a promotion one level higher than their original rank, according to the position they held.
Of this number, three Pati were promoted to Lieutenant General (three stars), 12 Pati were promoted to Major General (2 stars), and 37 Pati were promoted to Brigadier General (1 star). The Pati who were promoted served both within and outside the TNI AD structure.
