They are the latest model Mercedes-Maybach S600 Guardeach costing about BGN 1 million with VAT (BGN 853,240 without VAT).
The importer of the cars is Silver Star Retail. The company won the public contract announced during the interim government of Galab Donev. The contract was concluded at the beginning of the term of academician Nikolay Denkov, with a price of BGN 2,559,720 excluding VAT, according to a reference in the public procurement register.

On Monday, with a short ceremony, the National Security Service (NSS) accepted the three new high-class armored passenger cars.
In the NSO announcement, it is stated that the new cars, as well as all other operational assets of the service, are not intended for a specific guarded person, but will be used as appropriate.
The new material acquisition will meet the “urgent needs of the state security service” to ensure the visit of foreign officials, as well as the president, the speaker of the National Assembly and the prime minister in the country, the announcement says.
