The Luxembourg portal “L’essentiel” published an article entitled “Struggle for influence in Luxembourg against the backdrop of a secret war”.
Publika.az reports that in the article, the opinion of Elchin Amirbeyov, representative of the President of Azerbaijan on special tasks, was specially emphasized: “We should raise political exchanges to the level of trade exchanges.”
It was noted that E. Amirbeyov spoke about Azerbaijan’s strategic position, natural gas reserves against the backdrop of the Ukrainian war, in a meeting with Luxembourg officials, and emphasized that the capital Baku is the main hub for the Luxembourg “Cargolux” cargo transportation company.

Answering the journalist’s question about the South Caucasus, Luxembourg Foreign Minister Xavier Bettel noted the need to continue the dialogue with all Caucasian countries, as well as to convey political messages to the relevant parties, to respect the territorial integrity of various states. He said that Luxembourg does not provide military support to Armenia.
