Outgoing Trinamool Congress MP Arjun Singh from Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. This very important leader in West Bengal politics announced this at his residence on Thursday (March 14).

Arjun Singh said, he will go to the BJP headquarters in Delhi on Friday (March 15). Thousands of workers are waiting to go to Bharatiya Janata Party in Barrackpore.

Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee announced the list of candidates for 42 constituencies from the Trinamool Congress public meeting at Kolkata’s Brigade Parade Ground on March 10. Arjun Singh was present on that stage. But Arjun’s name was not in the list. West Bengal Government Irrigation Minister Partha Bhoumi was nominated by Trinamool Congress in his place. Addressing media representatives at his residence in Bhatpara in North 24 Parganas district on Thursday, outgoing MP Arjun Singh said, “I am joining the BJP.” Tomorrow, Friday, March 15, I will go to Delhi to attend. I will be joined by another large man.

Expressing anger against the Trinamool Congress, Arjun said there are many reasons for joining the BJP. Even the veterans are angry. Here promises are not kept.

He also said, I work with people, people are with me. Trinamool Congress does politics of exploiting people.

Speaking against the Trinamool Congress candidate of Barrackpore, Irrigation Minister Partha Bhowmik, Arjun Singh said, how many days the people next to the house of the Irrigation Minister were without a house? They are still threatening their workers by calling them to the municipality.

On joining Trinamool Congress, Arjun Singh said, those who join Trinamool Congress will take an informed decision.
