Arda Guler is the youngest goal scorer at the Euros, Ronaldo’s record is ruined!

DORTMUND – Arda Guler wrote his name in football history by breaking the record held by Cristiano Ronaldo as the youngest goalscorer at the Euros (European Cup).

In the opening match of Group F Euro 2024 between Turkey and Georgia which took place at the Signal Iduna Park Stadium, Dortmund, Germany, Tuesday (18/6/2024), Arda Guler scored a beautiful goal at the age of 19 years and 114 days.

This record was the main highlight in Türkiye’s 3-1 victory over Georgia. Arda Guler, who started the match with enthusiasm, managed to score a classy goal in the 65th minute which changed the course of the match. This goal was not only important for the team’s victory, but also marked a great personal achievement for Guler, who had just made his debut in a tournament as big as the Euros.
