Approving appointments to senior positions

The Government Council held today, Thursday, headed by Aziz Akhannouch, approved proposals for appointments to senior positions in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.

During this meeting, a group of officials was appointed at the level of the directorates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Residing Abroad.

Thus, Allal and Zani Thami were appointed as Director of the European Union and Medium Series, Omar Kadri as Director of Asian and Oceanian Affairs, Abdel-Ilah Al-Najari as Director of Public Diplomacy and Non-governmental Actors, and Al-Wafi Bukili Makhoukhi as Director of the Moroccan Academy of Diplomatic Studies. Regarding the Ministry of Equipment and Water, during the aforementioned meeting, Moncef Barrada was appointed Director of Road Works and Exploitation.

At the level of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development – Energy Transition Sector, Mohsen Zaidi was appointed Director of Legal Affairs, Monitoring and Risk Prevention.

At the level of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, the Government Council approved the appointment of Zubair Al-Flasoufi as Director of the Higher School of Technology in Sidi Bennour.
