King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Authority, gave his approval of the council’s appointments to judicial officials in several courts in the Kingdom, in the drawing of the January 2025 session.
A communiqué of the council, issued on Thursday, stated that these appointments interested in seventeen tasks of judicial responsibility; This represents 7 percent of the positions of judicial responsibility in various courts of the Kingdom.
The matter is related, according to the same source, with six first chiefs of the Courts of Appeal, and a public prosecutor with a commercial appeal court, along with five elementary courts.
These appointments also deluded five elementary courts, and five agents of the king with primary courts.
The Supreme Council of the Judicial Authority confirmed that the aforementioned appointments were distinguished by assigning responsibility for three women judges; Among them are two judges who had previously held responsibility, and one was assigned to the first time.
These new appointments were also distinguished by assigning responsibility for two judges, for the first time, to pump new blood into the tasks of responsibility.
On this occasion, the Supreme Council of the Judicial Authority congratulated the new judicial officials on the confidence that was placed in them, motivating them to “carry out their tasks with the necessary seriousness and firmness, with more will and determination, and take initiatives aimed at the fair application of the law and provide the conditions necessary for a fair trial, and respect the reasonable term to decline in cases and implement them.”
