How to prepare apple pudding
Ingredients:
2 small apples
100 g margarine
100 g of sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
180 g of 0000 flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
a pinch of salt
50 ml of milk
2 tablespoons of sugar (for sprinkling)
A pinch of cinnamon (optional)
Preparing the apples:
Cut the 2 small apples in half, remove the skin and seeds.
Make thin slices with the halves and set aside.
Preparation of the dough:
Mix 100 g of margarine with 100 g of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla essence.
Beat until creamy.
Add 180 g of sifted 0000 flour with 1 tablespoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt.
Add 50 ml of milk, whisking constantly until the mixture is homogeneous.
Assembling the pudding:
Pour the mixture into a greased and floured baking dish.
Place the apple slices on the dough.
Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar and, if desired, a pinch of cinnamon.
Cooking:
Bake in a medium oven (180°C) for approximately 25 minutes.
The pudding is ready when the center is cooked and the edges are golden and have come away from the mold.
