The trailer has a Street Fighter theme with references to promoting a showdown fight Anthony Joshua and Francis Ngannou making fans allege that the outcome of the fight had already been decided. This accusation is quite reasonable considering the leaked footage circulating on social media.

In the video that was widely spread on social media, Ngannou takes part in a Street Fighter-themed trailer which shows the two men falling to the mat simultaneously after landing blows on each other.

One user of social media X or formerly Twitter wrote: “Francis Ngannou vs Anthony Joshua script just leaked!!!”

Another user said: “I know what to bet on now! I’m getting rich guys!”

There were some who praised the promo’s creativity with one fan writing: “This new fight promo is pretty neat. There’s a streetfighter II feel to it.”

For your information, the Joshua versus Ngannou fight took place in Saudi Arabia on Friday (8/4/2024) local time. The main heavyweight fight will last for 10 rounds.

This is a tough test for Ngannou because Joshua is an opponent who cannot be underestimated. The British boxer has collected three consecutive wins so far.

A win for Joshua in Riyadh would give him a title fight against the winner of Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury, but the Briton is focused on ‘The Predator’ and revealed he will not take the MMA star lightly.
