In yet another game without a win for the Angolan teams in the African Champions League and without great brilliance on the part of Petro and 1° De Agosto, progress to the stage for both became increasingly less likely.
1° De Agosto was the first to enter the field, in Lubumbashi, DRC, where they faced TP Mazembe and were defeated 2-1, after having been winning for much of the match.

In four games, the military have just two points, the result of two draws achieved at home, while playing away, they have two defeats in the same number of games.
A few minutes later, it was nothing more than a two-goal draw, against Widad Casablanca, in a game played in Luanda, at the Estádio Nacional 11 de Novembro.

Like their arch-rivals, Petro, they only have two points in four games played, having suffered two defeats in games played away from home.
With these results, both teams see their opponents in their respective groups distancing themselves and the possibility of progressing to the knockout phase of the CAF Champions League.
