Yesterday, very early in the morning, a father was tragically stabbed by robbers in Anosipatrana. The attackers, four in number, stole their victim’s cell phone. According to information obtained from local residents, the man was on his way to work when he crossed paths with the criminals. Armed with a sharp object, they threatened him to take his property.
While trying to defend himself, the father was stabbed several times. After stealing his phone, the bandits fled without encountering resistance. Seriously injured, the victim called for help. Residents quickly took him to the nearest doctor. The police, alerted, arrived on the scene shortly after and opened an investigation.
Residents express their concern about the increase in pickpocketing and attacks by robbers. The majority of neighborhoods in the capital suffer from this type of criminal acts. Despite the efforts of the police, who carry out patrols daily and even at night, the situation remains worrying.
Sometimes, the police confront the bandits directly, and several of them are neutralized. However, the hunt for criminals continues, and residents hope that these actions will restore security in their neighborhoods.
