ASSUMPTION. Minister Enrique Riera announced that after 6 years, the famous Anklet Law will be applied in the short term. He stated that the regulations are regulated and that Congress approved the necessary modifications, and in a few days the decree for the promulgation of the modifications will be in the Executive’s office.
He commented to his peers that with the modified and regulated law, it already gives way to the launching of the specifications and conditions for the bidding and purchase of the control devices, which are already approved by the National Directorate of Contracts and the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications (Mitic).
“It is a joy that the famous Anklet Law, after 6 years, is going to be implemented in the short term, this law was not applied with the excuse that it was not regulated. We made the regulation, then curiously, being a very useful law for the fight against domestic violence, we were forced to modify it,” he assured.
He highlighted the work of Congress, which “behaved and passed the law as we asked. Today the Law is ready to be promulgated and in a few more days you will have the decree in your office to then call for bids.”
