Ankara Development Agency Employment Workshop Program Certificates Presented

Certificates were presented to trainees who successfully completed the Employment Workshop Vocational Training Program conducted by Ankara Development Agency.

Ankara Development Agency Secretary General Dr. Duhan Kalkan visited the ASO Continuous Education Center (ASO-SEM) and received information about the ongoing 5th Employment Workshop Vocational Training Program.

The Development Agencies General Directorate determined the theme of Development Agencies for 2024 as ‘Women’s Entrepreneurship and Women’s Employment’. In this context, within the scope of theoretical and practical training programs prepared as a result of interviews with companies in the industrial sector in Ankara focusing on employment, the employment-guaranteed “Employment Workshop Vocational Training Program” carried out in cooperation with Ankara Development Agency and ASO Continuing Education Center ASO-SEM continues with an emphasis on women’s employment.

Ankara Development Agency Secretary General Duhan Kalkan emphasized the importance of youth and women employment and stated that they will continue to support activities that will provide added value to the region in line with the goals of the Development Agency General Directorate. Kalkan stated that touching human life and creating employment is one of the priority goals of the agency and said that they aim to increase the participation of youth and women in the workforce with trainings provided in areas such as CNC Machine Operator, Electromechanical Maintenance and Assembly Expertise, Welding Technology Expertise, Sewing Machine Operator, Industrial Automation and Technology Maintenance and Repair Expertise, CMM Expertise and GES Maintenance and Repair Expertise.

During the event, where the trainees were chatting about the program, the trainees shared the knowledge and experiences they gained during the training process. The certificates of the trainees who successfully completed the program were presented by Ankara Development Agency Secretary General Duhan Kalkan. Kalkan said, “Our youth and women are the most important elements that will shape the future of our country. Ensuring their participation in the workforce is of great importance for both our economic development and social welfare.” – ANKARA
