Angolan Domingos Fernandes (Padofe), opened a vehicle maintenance workshop in the first fortnight of this month (Cardofe Automotive).
The inauguration ceremony celebrating Angola’s 45th year of Independence was attended by the Consul General of Angola in Houston, Ana Paula Nascimento.
On that occasion, Fernandes encouraged the Angolan community to continue investing in their own businesses, so that they become increasingly united and financially independent.
For the consul who asked the group of businesspeople in their investments to focus on the Angolan community, with the creation of new jobs.
Domingos Fernandes started the business part-time as a vehicle transporter, taking cars from one state to another, when he worked for “METRO”.
Several personalities participated in the inauguration, including Pastor Márcio, from the Lusófona Community Church, businesspeople and the president of the community association in Texas “NJango”.
Cardofe Automotive is a general vehicle maintenance workshop, with two elevators, and is thinking about expanding the business to body repair services, which is its specialty, guaranteeing customers the best service in the city of Houston.
