Angolan gamers, as E-Sports and video game players are known, closed 2019 on a high note, this weekend, with a national tournament, which determined the new champions and opened a new competition in the country.
Promoted by the Angolan multinational Angola Cables, in partnership with other national companies, the competition had a large participation of more than 200 video game lovers, from the country, especially from Luanda, who challenged each other’s skills for more than 10 hours, until the big winners of the tournament are known.
There were four, the big winners of the tournament, in the fighting games, Mortal Kombat 11 and Tekken 7, they became champions, Charles Júnior and Everaldo Smith, respectively and in the football games, FIFA 20 and PES 20, they won , Nádio Fortunato and Osvaldo Catambi.

Osvaldo Catambi, a professional player for over years, winner of the PES 20 tournament, was very happy with the victory and was clear in stating that he intends to win the next tournaments.
The winners of the tournament, as well as the remaining athletes who completed the podium, were awarded shopping vouchers, with values ranging from 50 thousand to 150 thousand kwanzas, by NCR and with sound equipment offered by the same company.
According to official data from the organization, which gave a positive assessment of the tournament, of the number of registrants, more than half participated in the football games.
Along with Angola Cables, NCR, Happy Code and Easy Gamer 1+1 were involved in the tournament.
