The “Our Kzomba” Cultural Festival about Angola took place for the third time, from November 31st to December 2nd, in Amsterdam Netherlands.
An activity that has become a brand in the Netherlands, every year the “festival” includes internationally renowned artists coming directly from Angola.
There was also a lecture on the “Curiosities of Nguinbe” given by the architect and researcher Mário Napoleão Contreiras, where the authorship of the flag and insignia of the republic and other topics were discussed for the first time.
The first edition of cultural exchange was attended by Eduardo Paim, the second edition featured the musician Filho do Zua and in this third edition of 2018, several artists from music, photography and visual arts were present, namely Portuguese in music , in photography Lwiana and visual artist presented an exhibition portraying the reality, habits and customs of the Angolan woman Ryral entitled “As Belitas de Angola”.
The closing ceremony culminated in a cultural debate led by university professor, Engineer Paulo Figueira on our identity and cultural values.
