The money spent so far in the fight against the covid-19 pandemic has been channeled into the acquisition of hospital material, biosafety, personal protection, medicines, humanitarian flights, institutional quarantine and other services.

The government also purchased from China more than 500 tons of hospital, biosafety, personal protection and medicine supplies, which landed in the country on more than 25 aircraft.

A large part of this amount was spent on institutional quarantine, where each individual spends 50 thousand Kwanzas daily.

At this time, more than six thousand citizens are complying with institutional quarantine throughout the country, some of whom are contributing to the total expenses.

In almost four months of living with the disease, Angola has already registered 458 cases of the disease, with 23 deaths and 117 recovered.
