Angola collects 23 medals at the African Championships in Rwanda

News from Angola – The National Senior Gymnastics Team won, in Kigali, a total of 23 medals in the 18th edition of the African Gymnastics Championship, which ended on Saturday (27) this month, in Rwanda.

Speaking to the press, Monday (29), at the 4 de Fevereiro International Airport, in Luanda, the assistant coach, Alice Tomás, confirmed that of the 23 medals, one is gold, two silver and 20 bronze.

Alice Tomás also guaranteed that the next priority will be the African and Zonal Championships, where the objective is the podium.

Gymnast Luana Gomes won the gold medal and guaranteed her presence at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Resident in Portugal, Luana Gomes performed well in the various stages of the individual final, which earned her applause from the panel of judges.
