In December last year Anders Rydning (37) managed to let himself go into celebration after winning the TV 2 program “Farmen”.
At the final party he celebrated together with his new companion, the former “Farmen” winner Daniel Godø (32).
Secret luck
Then things got pretty quiet between the two, but now – just over a month later, they reveal to Dagbladet that they’ve taken their relationship one step further than just dating and a budding crush.
– I understood yes
A week and a half ago, Godø and Rydning took courage, sat down and talked about the way forward.

– I asked: “Will you be my girlfriend”? I had yes. The next day we were really in a panic. It was about the combination that it was too good to be true and the feeling of “Shit, we’re lovers”, even if it seemed fantastic, the duo “Farmen” tells Dagbladet.
Luckily, the panic quickly turned into a much better feeling.
– So yes, we are lovers. Right now we are sitting and celebrating the anniversary of our week with blueberries and “Farmen kendis” on TV, Rydning chimes in and laughs.
– There were some challenges
– So what causes panic?
– For my part, I think it’s because it’s always a little strange when you have to put a label on a relationship. Because from one day to the next nothing happened. I felt like I needed to take more responsibility for what I do and how I behave, says Rydning, who continues:

– I was probably a little confused after the experience I had had. Full of adrenaline and open to the world. I think it was healthy for me, because I was very receptive to a new person. Daniel fit perfectly into my little heart chamber.
Come visit the family
They describe the days and weeks following the “Farmen” final as “incredibly beautiful”.
– Because then he calmed down a lot. We’re both busy men and it’s been so nice hanging out together in the last half of December. But then I went home for the Christmas holidays and only met Anders shortly before New Year, explains Godø, who won “The Farm” himself after winning “Torpet” for the first time, in 2021.
He secretly sold the “Farmen” prize.
But it didn’t take long back home in Ålesund before he became very, very impatient.
– Anders had gone to Beitostølen with his family and I really wanted to see him again. So two days before New Year’s Eve I secretly ran away to Beitostølen and disturbed the family peace there. I said hello to his whole family and it was just incredibly beautiful.

– This was a real plus in the book. We tried to organize a romantic Christmas dinner before the Christmas holidays, since we wouldn’t see each other for ten days. Those ten days seemed like an eternity. Every single day felt like a week, he admits.
The reigning winner of “Farmen” is happy to have taken part in the TV 2 program. Otherwise, the probability that a message from Godø would have suddenly arrived would have been minimal.
– For me this is the victory of the “Farmen”. The meeting with Daniel means much more than the prize I brought home from the farm, the 37-year-old happily tells Dagbladet.
