On the initiative of the Sklivanite Brotherhoods of Ioannina and Attica, next Saturday, March 16, at 12:00 pm, another automatic external defibrillator (AED) will be placed in the square of Agios Georgios Sklivanis. It is worth noting that last December an automatic external defibrillator (AED) was also installed in the central square of Sklivani.
In addition to the Sklivanite Brotherhoods of Ioannina and Attica, the following contributed to the procurement of the second automatic external defibrillator:
- CONTINENTAL EGGS
- the RELAX MEDICAL APPLIANCES SA
- The families of Dimitrios Maggioros, Aristoteles Ferentinos and Christos Ferentinos in memory of the late Pericles Drosos
- The Parish of Agios Georgios Sklivanis
The Fraternities would like to thank those who contributed to the implementation of this action.
More than 20 Sklivanites have already been certified in CPR and in the use of an automatic external defibrillator, while several more will be certified in the near future.
