An international symposium addresses the Moroccan Sahara

The Laboratory of Literary and Linguistic Studies, Media and Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences, SAES, Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdullah University in Fez, is organizing an international conference on the topic of “Advocating for the Moroccanness of the Sahara in light of the current regional and international transformations,” on May 17 and 18, at the holiday center for the communication sector in Imouzzer Kandar and at the Center for Literary and Linguistic Studies, Media Sciences, and Communication. Innovation is headed by the aforementioned university.

According to a statement issued by the same laboratory, the international symposium, organized in partnership with the Social Business Association of the Ministry of Communication and the Fez Community, will witness the participation of a number of doctors and researchers specialized in the Moroccan Sahara issue from inside and outside Morocco.

The communication, a copy of which was received by the electronic newspaper Hespress, confirmed that the participants in this important demonstration, over two full days, will discuss all aspects related to defending the Moroccan Sahara in light of the current international and regional transformations.

The source added, “The international symposium will be distinguished by the presentation of a documentary on the major development achievements in the southern provinces of the Kingdom entitled “The Moroccan Sahara… The Renewed Era and the Promising Horizon,” prepared and completed by the Laboratory of Literary and Linguistic Studies and Media and Communication Sciences at the University of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdullah in Fez, pointing out that “The date will mark the presentation of a collective book entitled “Advocating for the Moroccanity of the Sahara in light of the current international and regional transformations,” with the contribution of a group of professors and researchers participating in the international symposium and interested in the Moroccan Sahara file from inside and outside Morocco.”

It is worth noting that this international symposium falls within the framework of academic efforts aimed at shedding light on the latest international and regional developments that are closely related to the artificial conflict over the Moroccan Sahara.
