In the ranks of the Latvian national team, Richards Juzup was the most productive with eight goals, Nikita Panchenko scored six times, Ralfs Geisler and Raivis Gorbunovs scored five times each, while Yevgeniis Rogonovs scored four goals. Goalkeeper Edgars Kukša was recognized as the best for the home team.
Ben Weier, Luke Kaisen and Armin Zekan each scored five goals for their opponents.
Latvia has already met with Luxembourg three times. The Luxembourg team failed to beat Latvia in any of them, but the last time they met in the 2022 European Championship qualifiers, Luxembourg equalized at the end of the match – 30:30.
This autumn, the Latvian national team did not pass the first round of the qualifying tournament for the 2025 World Championship.
