An epic in Hassaniya celebrates “Malik Al-Qulub”

Last week, a group of Moroccan artists finished preparing for a new epic song that they chose to film in the Moroccan desert, specifically in the city of Laayoune. It is expected to be released on all music platforms on the 19th of this August.

According to the information obtained by Hespress, this epic comes within the framework of the celebrations of the glorious Youth Day, which coincides with the anniversary of the birth of King Mohammed VI, which falls on August 21 of each year. It is a national work supervised by the Moroccan producer and designer Issam Washma, and will bear the title “Malik Al Qulub.”

“Malik Al Qulub” is the first Hassani epic from the heart of the Moroccan desert, featuring the participation of an elite group of Sahrawi artists and Hassani song stars from the southern regions, who will embody their loyalty and love for the King of the country, Mohammed VI, in celebration of his birthday. They will express their firm belief that the Sahara is Moroccan and will remain so until God inherits the earth and all that is on it, under the slogan “God, the Nation, the King.”

Participating in this artistic epic, which is the first of its kind, are artist Khadija Souih, the ambassador of contemporary Sahrawi song Mohamed Atef, artist Mubarak Ahida, artist Belaid Lachgar, and artist Mustafa Al-Faqrawi.

“Malik Al Qulub” is a joint work with lyrics by Hamid Atef and music by Mohamed Atef. The distribution of its melodies was supervised by Tarek Lahjili, while the editing, mixing and mastering were done by Amin Amrati, under the joint artistic musical direction of Tarek Lahjili and Mohamed Atef. The video clip was directed by Ayoub Boumkni, under the supervision of the idea owner, Issam Washma.
