Amputee team runners-up in Alcan

The Moroccan national amputee football team was defeated in the final match of the African Cup of the same game, by the Ghana national team, with a score of two goals to one.

The Moroccan national team took the lead in the match in the 14th minute through Elias Al-Subaie, before the Ghana national team scored the equalizer in the 43rd minute of the second half from a penalty kick.

The confrontation went to two additional periods, in which the Ghanaian national team was able to add the second goal, which was the goal that gave Ghana the African Championship title. While Morocco was satisfied with the runner-up position.

The Moroccan national amputee football team qualified for this match with a landslide victory over Nigeria, 6-2, in the semi-final match held last Saturday.

Morocco had secured a ticket to participate in the next World Cup for this category, scheduled for 2026.
