Moroccan international Amin Adly, Bayer Leverkusen’s German football striker, expressed his happiness with his team’s historic journey without defeat so far during the current football season, after securing qualification to the final of the European League competition at the expense of Italian club Roma.
Adly said, in media statements after the second leg of the “Golden Square” match: “Our focus is great on all matches, and the mental aspect means a lot to us, and this helps us not to give up.”
The first Moroccan national team striker added: “The confrontation with Roma was difficult against a strong opponent. We played well despite falling behind in the result, and we succeeded in coming back with two goals in an unbelievable way.” He continued: “What is important now is that we qualified for the final, and this is what we will think about.” Frankly, it is crazy to think that we were not defeated again and tied at the last minute.”
The same player concluded: “We will celebrate the qualification for now, and return to work to achieve the European title.” We all have great ambition to achieve all goals.”
Amin Adly participated in 38 matches this season with Bayer Leverkusen in all local and European competitions, scoring 9 goals and making 11 assists.
