Americans are leading the aggression on Gaza – Al-Baath Media

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian stressed that the United States stands completely with the Zionist entity, while its military and security apparatuses are the ones managing the aggression against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, stressing that the equation of the war will be determined by the resistance.

In a press conference held after the first meeting of the foreign ministers of the “3+3” format in Tehran today, Abdollahian said: The Zionist regime is known as an occupying and usurping entity based on international law. If the occupation is not removed, the rule of the occupied territories applies completely to the situation in Palestine. Therefore, according to international law, those whose lands have been occupied can take up arms to defend their legitimate rights. He added: We are witnessing that some Western countries, especially the US administration, are trying to completely ignore the Israeli occupation and are trying to condemn and confront only the Palestinian resistance.

The Iranian Foreign Minister pointed out that the Americans sent messages calling for not expanding the war and exercising self-restraint, but the United States has proven in the past two weeks that by sending weapons and supporting the Israeli entity, it is working to escalate the war on Gaza and the West Bank and continue to shed the blood of women, children and civilians in Palestine.

Abdollahian warned that the region today is like a powder keg, and any event out of control can happen in the region at any moment, and therefore before it is too late, the parties involved in escalating the war, specifically America and the Zionist entity, must immediately stop killing women, children and civilians.

He pointed out that in the “3+3” formula meeting in Tehran, one of the important topics in the ministers’ speeches was related to developments in Palestine in particular, where strong and precise positions were issued in the context of emphasizing the immediate cessation of the war on the Gaza Strip, the cessation of fire and the killing of women, children and civilians, and the immediate delivery of humanitarian aid.

Abdollahian reiterated that Iran, within the framework of its humanitarian, national and religious values, supports the Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation, and always has a clear and specific position, and continues to provide political, international and media support to the resistance in the region against this occupation.

On the other hand, Abdollahian pointed out that the slogan and title of today’s meeting of the “3+3” format, which includes the foreign ministers of Iran, Russia, Turkey, Armenia and Azerbaijan, focused on discussing peace, cooperation and progress in the South Caucasus and the hope that we will not witness the use of force in this region in the future.
