For scheduled deliveries, the company’s website states, “Based on the postal code and by paying an additional fee, you will be eligible to place an order within a 2-hour delivery window for products under the Amazon Fresh program, subject to the availability of delivery slots from Monday to Sunday.” However, there will be no promised delivery slot for unscheduled deliveries of Amazon Fresh, according to the company’s website.Follow our WhatsApp channelInstead of quick deliveries, the company claims to focus on quality products. “Our attention to detail and quality products reflect our commitment to serving customers and providing them with the best online shopping experience for fresh produce and daily essentials,” Ram said in a statement.Amazon Fresh, launched in 2019, is also trying to enter tier 2 and tier 3 cities, as more than 50 per cent of Amazon Fresh customers come from these cities, according to a Businessline report. Amazon Fresh has expanded to Ambala, Aurangabad, Hoshiarpur, Dharwad, Una, Suri and other places. It remains to be seen how Amazon Fresh will be able to compete with instant commerce platforms like Big Basket, Blinkit and Instamart.
