Aloysius Yapp Defeats Taiwanese Billiards Player in 10-Ball Tournament Championship 2024 Bandung

BANDUNG – Singaporean billiard athlete Aloysius Yapp admitted to feeling nervous when participating in the 2024 10-Ball Tournament Championship competition which took place at RX Pool & Cafe Bandung, Jl. Kebon Kawung No.30, Bandung City.

However, Aloysius Yapp managed to overcome his nerves. This was proven by winning over Ko Ping Han, a billiard athlete from Taiwan.

“I played very well, it was a bit awkward at the beginning, but in the end it all ended with a good game,” said Aloysius Yapp after the match, Thursday (11/7/2024).

Aloysius Yapp admitted that the match against the youngest brother of Brother Ko was not the first time. Therefore, he was grateful to be able to win in his match this time.

“I’ve played with him many times before, so it’s nothing new for me. We’ve played together many times before, I was lucky this time to come out on top,” he said.

It is known that this is the second billiard tournament that Aloysius Yapp has participated in in Indonesia. Previously, he emerged as the champion at the Batam Open 10 Ball Championship 2024.

“This is my second year playing in this tournament. Previously and just last week I won the Batam Open,” he said.

Aloysius Yapp is happy to be able to take part in the competition in Indonesia, especially in the city of Bandung.

“It’s a fantastic experience, I love the place, I love Indonesia and I always enjoy coming here,” he added.

Aloysius Yapp admitted that he did not have a specific target in the Bandung Open Tournament Championship. He only fought to be able to perform well in every match.

“Just try to keep playing well, nothing excessive,” he said.
