Almaty residents were left without electricity

On April 24 in Almaty, due to a sharp deterioration in weather, strong wind and rain, several areas were cut off from power supply, Liter.kz reports.

Representatives of Alatau Zharyk Kompaniyasy JSC explained that the cause of the outages was rain and strong winds, which damaged the 6-10-0.4 kV distribution network. As a result, Almaty consumers were left without electricity.

Due to deteriorating weather and strong winds, emergency power outages occur in Almaty. Territorial exclusion: mkr. Ermensay, Nur Alatau, Tau-Samaly, Karagayly, Kuramys, Akzhar, Baganashil, Askartau, Shanyrak-1 and Shanyrak-2, – the report says.

The company also noted that an operational team is already working to restore power supply and eliminate the consequences of bad weather. The situation in the city is under control.
