Parodist Alexander Peskov, known as one of the most popular doubles of Alla Pugacheva, has been put on the wanted list in Russia, Liter.kz reports with reference to the Telegram channel Mash.
According to a source, the artist has accumulated a debt to a creditor in the amount of 13 million rubles, and now he is officially wanted.
“A few years ago, Peskov performed at closed events and corporate shows, receiving up to 5 million rubles per performance. High fees allowed him to purchase two apartments in Moscow: a spacious apartment with an area of 99.2 sq. m in Lefortovo and housing on Arbat with an area of 96.3 sq. m,” the publication writes.
However, the financial situation has changed dramatically. First, the Federal Tax Service closed his company “Theater under the direction of Alexander Peskov.” Then the creditor sued and demanded the return of 13 million rubles. After the decision of the enforcement court, a search began.
In order to repay the debt as quickly as possible, the artist was forced to reduce his fees to 400 thousand rubles per performance and minimize his rider. Now the list of his requirements includes only household items: ten bottles of still water, four chairs, two sockets and a mirror measuring at least 0.5 by 1.5 meters.
According to the publication, against the backdrop of financial problems, Peskov’s pancreatic disease, which he was diagnosed with six years ago, worsened. The artist continues to work despite deteriorating health.
