Last Friday, June 21, in the management of the Company for Studies, Construction and Naval Repair (Secren), the distribution of quality fishing equipment to fishermen by the Albacora company took place. The Minister of Fisheries and the Blue Economy, Paubert Tsimanaoraty Mahatante, the stewards of the Diana region, the executives and staff of Secren came to honor the event.
The Antsiranana fishermen’s associations are now equipped with different fishing equipment, including radars, sonars, GPS, worth approximately 35 million ariary. Fishing is one of the key activities in this locality. It therefore constitutes the main source of income for the majority of families in the surrounding villages…
As for Albacora and Secren, their relationship lasted more than 40 years. These two companies, all this time, were side by side. This donation given by the Spanish company strengthens the bond of cooperation, and the second affirms its recognition!
