Al Kaabi is the top scorer in the European Conference League

The Greek Olympiacos set a date with the Italian Fiorentina in the final of the European Football Conference League, after defeating its English guest, Aston Villa, 2-0, in the second leg of the semi-final of the tournament.

Olympiacos had won the first leg in England 4-2, qualifying for the final with a score of 6-2 on aggregate, and will meet Italian Fiorentina, which tied yesterday with Belgian Club Brugge 1-1, to qualify as winners 4-3 on aggregate, after winning the first leg in Italy. 3-2.

Olympiacos will face the Italian team Fiorentina, which reached the final of last season’s edition before losing to English West Ham 1-2, and its victory over Aston Villa dashed the hopes of the English clubs of crowning one of their representatives in the continental championships with a title this season.

Moroccan international player Ayoub El Kaabi scored the first goal for the Greek team in the tenth minute, before the same player added the second goal in the 78th minute.

Al-Kaabi became the top scorer in the current season’s edition of the European Conference League, with ten goals, making him the top scorer in the competition before the final match, which will be held on May 29 in Athens.
