Al Hilal Basketball ends the first leg of the preliminary stage with a victory over Ittihad Al Marj

Benghazi, March 22, 2024 (Al-Anbaa Al-Libya) – Al-Hilal team was able to defeat Ittihad Al-Marj by a margin of (28) points, by (75 vs. 47) points, in the framework of the third round competitions for the teams of the second group of the first leg of the preliminary stage of the Libyan Basketball League.

The match that took place in the hall of the late Ouanis Bukhamada, in which Al Hilal succeeded in excelling in the first half by a margin of (8) points, by (28 vs. 20) points, especially since the first quarter had ended.

Hilaliya scored (13 vs. 7) points, and Hilal strengthened its lead in the second quarter with a single basket, with a score of (15 vs. 13) points.

Al Hilal also advanced in the third quarter, ahead by (5) points, with a score of (21 vs. 16) points, while the total of the three periods for Hilal was (49 vs. 36) points.

Al Hilal expanded the gap in the last quarter of the confrontation by (15) points, with a score of (26 vs. 11) points, while the result of the second half for Al Hilal was (47 vs. 27) points.

It should be noted that this match was led by a refereeing trio consisting of Abdulaziz Al-Maqouri as first referee, Ibrahim Al-Barassi as second referee, in addition to Muhammad bin Sariti as third referee, while the interview referees’ table consisted of Ahmed Al-Barassi, a recorder, Moataz Khalif, an electronic recorder, Fahim Al-Saeeti, Mikati, and Adel.
