The Tenders and Auctions Board, which is responsible for monitoring government procurement and contracts, opened nine tenders and two auctions for a number of public entities and companies in its weekly session yesterday morning.
The total of the lowest bids submitted for yesterday’s session tenders amounted to about 1.3 million dinars, as companies competed through 75 offers to win the tenders presented.
In details, the Tender Board opened two tenders for the Bahrain Internet Exchange, the first related to providing services to the exchange operations center, for which 3 bids competed, as the lowest bid was submitted by Almoayyed Group at a value of 242 thousand dinars, while the second tender was for a financial consulting service. , which was applied for by Zen 360 Consult Co. WLL with the lowest bid was 130.6 thousand dinars.

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority won two bids to rent space to provide communication network poles for the Galali Waterfront Project and the Bahrain Gulf Coast Project. Zain Bahrain was the only bidder for both tenders, submitting the first with a bid worth 118,000 dinars and the second with a bid of 79,000 dinars.
11 companies competed for the Ministry of Finance and National Economy’s tender related to providing correspondents for the ministry’s building, with the lowest bid amounting to 3.6 thousand dinars from the International Marketing Company.
Afaq Al Khaleej Company submitted the lowest bid for the government hospitals tender for the program to purchase continuous positive airway pressure breathing equipment, out of 7 other bids, with a value of 38.2 thousand dinars.
The Ministry of Public Works opened two tenders, one of which was allocated for preventive maintenance work for the Prime Minister’s Office in Manama, for which 3 companies applied. The lowest bid was from Yateem Air Conditioning Company, with a value of 358 thousand dinars. The second tender for the Ministry was for the time contract for road marking works 2024-2025, which competed. There were 6 companies, with the lowest bid coming from BETA CONTRACTING, at a value of 202 thousand dinars.
Al-Zayani Company submitted the lowest bid for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ tender, in order to provide 3 luxury cars for the ministry’s use for a period of 3 years, as the bid value amounted to 46 thousand dinars.
