His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transport and Communications, emphasized the important role of the Prime Minister’s program for developing government cadres in attracting and building the capabilities of national cadres and providing them with knowledge and leadership skills. He praised the program’s outputs that contribute effectively to the comprehensive development process under the leadership of His Majesty the King. Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, may God protect and preserve him, and it serves to achieve the ambitious vision of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, in optimal investment in national cadres.

This came during a meeting with His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Communications with members of the ninth batch of the Prime Minister’s program for developing government cadres, where His Excellency indicated that the program represents an advanced step in creating a generation capable of development and innovation, noting His Excellency the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to continue investing in the human element, which It is an essential goal for achieving various aspects of development.

His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Communications provided a detailed explanation of the role and tasks of the Ministry of Transport and Communications and related sectors, and reviewed the most important projects under implementation and future projects that will contribute to developing infrastructure in line with the objectives of Bahrain Economic Vision 2030.

Members of the ninth batch of the Prime Minister’s program for developing government cadres toured the facilities affiliated with the ministry’s sectors, which included the Meteorological Department, where participants listened to a detailed explanation of the department’s role in monitoring and forecasting weather conditions, and its importance in ensuring the safety of air and sea navigation. Then they went to the Air Traffic Management Center to learn about the work mechanisms in management, air traffic support, and the logistics sector.

Members of the ninth batch also visited the postal sorting complex, where they learned about the workflow mechanism in the postal sorting complex, and the various postal services provided by the Ministry to citizens and residents. Then members of the ninth batch visited the Bahrain Logistics Zone, to learn about the region’s facilities and the advanced logistical services it provides, which It contributes to strengthening Bahrain’s position as a regional center for trade and transportation, in addition to visiting Khalifa bin Salman Port to see the latest port facilities and its role in supporting maritime trade in the Kingdom.

For their part, members of the ninth batch of the Prime Minister’s program for developing government cadres expressed their thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Transportation and Communications, stressing their determination to continue working in the spirit of Team Bahrain to achieve the advancement and development of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
