This celebration aims to highlight the efforts made by nursing personnel in serving patients in all health sectors, within the framework of achieving the goals of comprehensive health coverage.
The celebration of International Nurses Day embodies the extent of interest in supporting the nursing staff who make multiple efforts and contributions within the framework of the health system in terms of providing health care to patients, implementing health and preventive plans with high efficiency, and providing ways to develop health services and raise their level of quality for the benefit of serving all members of society.
The nursing sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain has achieved many achievements related to preserving the health of all and advancing the health system in terms of the effective role of nursing personnel in enhancing the health of individuals, protecting them from diseases and their complications, and providing appropriate health care methods for them in various medical specialties, in addition to the interest in supporting nurses. And nurses and appreciation for their efforts and contributions in serving the health sector.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Health stressed the importance of supporting all nursing cadres and providing them with opportunities to develop their capabilities, keeping up with scientific and training developments in various specializations in the field of nursing, and investing in this sector, which plays its vital role in achieving the advancement and development of health services in the Kingdom.
