The Center for Theater Affairs at the Ministry of Culture in the sisterly State of Qatar issued a book entitled “Saeed’s Gift… Memory of Qatari Art” in honor of her distinguished artistic career as one of the first Qatari female artists to enter the field of art in the seventies and is still continuing. The publication coincides with the Doha Theater Festival in its 36th session, which concluded. A few days ago.
The book covers 192 of the medium volume, and is divided into eight parts, as follows.

The Center for Theater Affairs stated in a statement:
Who among us does not know the gift of Saeed? Who among us has not seen her on stage or television, or heard her voice on the radio, or attended her sessions as she narrated “Al-Hazzawi” with her warm voice, smart comments, and constant wit? Her performance makes the adults present nostalgia for childhood, while the children surrender to the joy she spreads and enjoy her words as if they were in the arms of a grandmother who was telling them bedtime stories.
The great artist Hadiya Saeed is truly considered a pioneer of Qatari theatre. With her boldness, talent, and the respect she imposed on everyone, she was able to establish women’s feet on the Qatari stage and make their presence an indispensable necessity.
This book seeks to present a comprehensive picture of our great artist by placing her theatrical career within the context of the work of women actresses, writers, directors, and professors in theater, whether within the Arab countries or in the rest of the world.
It is a kind of thanks and appreciation to this able artist, and a record of her presence in the process of the Qatari theater, and a documentation of the many works that she presented and shined in, so that she was truly a star of the theater.
