Member of the Bahrain Combat Sports Council, Ms. Fajr Ali Al-Binali, participated in the meeting of the Executive Office and the general meeting of the Asian Taekwondo Federation, which were held on the sidelines of the 26th edition of the Asian Taekwondo Championships held in Vietnam.
16 members of the office participated in the meeting of the Executive Office of the Asian Taekwondo Federation. During the meeting, a number of technical, financial and administrative issues related to the game were reviewed and a set of decisions were voted on regarding the program for hosting the federation’s championships in the period 2024-2025.
After that general meeting of the Asian Taekwondo Federation, the results of the Executive Office’s decisions and the most important updates related to the Federation’s work were presented in the presence of representatives of the member national Taekwondo federations.
Al-Binali also participated in the crowning ceremony of the 8th edition of the Asian Poomsei Championship, which was held from May 14-15 at the Tien Son Sports Palace hall, with the participation of 291 male and female players representing 20 countries from the Asian continent.
On this occasion; Al-Binali said: “Participating in such meetings and forums enhances the efforts of the Bahrain Combat Games Council to have a presence in Asian arenas, which contributes to increasing the chances of achieving the highest success rates for council games at the continental and international levels,” appreciating the continued efforts of His Highness Sheikh Salman bin Mohammed Al. Khalifa, Vice President of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Combat Sports Council, in supporting the members of the Council and the Combat Sports Federations to participate and be present in such continental and international meetings and tournaments.
