In implementation of the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him, to open, renovate and rehabilitate 32 mosques affiliated with the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Departments, in all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain, within the framework of the plan to develop mosques and mosques, His Excellency Mr. Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Mawda announced The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments said that the Ministry has begun coordination with the Urban Planning Authority and the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Administrations to initiate and complete the implementation of these projects.
His Excellency the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments noted the success of the plan ordered by His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister during the month of Ramadan in the past two years to launch a plan to develop mosques, where 50 places of worship affiliated with the Sunni and Jaafari Endowments Departments were opened, restored and rehabilitated in all governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments appreciated the interest and keenness of His Highness the Crown Prince, Prime Minister, to ensure the continuation of projects to develop places of worship in all regions of the Kingdom so that the needs of worshipers are met, so that they perform their worship with ease and tranquility.
He stated that, based on the order of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, work is underway to complete the procedures for opening the following mosques:
-Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa Mosque – Muharraq
-Imam Hassan (peace be upon him) Mosque – Karzakan
-Sheikha Fatima bint Ahmed Al Khalifa Mosque – Zallaq
-Abu Sobh Mosque – Diraz
-Aisha and Hassan Al-Qattan Mosque – Manama
-Al-Mustafa Mosque – Al-Markh
-Adnan bin Ahmed bin Youssef Abdul Malik Mosque – Manama
-Al-Namleti Mosque – Riffa
-Mohammed Abdullah Bahloul Mosque and his wife Fatima Al Khaja – Salman City
Restoration and rehabilitation procedures have also begun for the following mosques:
-Isa Town Southern Mosque – Isa Town
-Al-Khaif Mosque – Monastery
-Sheikha Sheikha bint Nasser Al Suwaidi Mosque – Jurdab
