Egyptian media revealed a renewed crisis between Liverpool and the Egyptian national team, against the backdrop of the decision to summon Mohamed Salah to the Egyptian national team’s next camp and participate in the international friendly tournament held in the Emirates.
The summons comes at a time when the English club Liverpool is suffering from the consequences of Salah’s injury in the recent African Cup of Nations, which forced the Egyptian star to miss more than 10 “sensitive” matches for Liverpool.

The former Egyptian national team goalkeeper explained that the Minister of Sports made extensive contacts to bring the viewpoints closer between Hossam Hassan and Mohamed Salah, and his attempts are on the way to success.
Ahmed Schubert pointed out, “What I learned is that while Ashraf Sobhi and Hossam Hassan are in Saudi Arabia, to attend the Egypt Cup final between Zamalek and Al-Ahly, next Friday, a video call will be made to reconcile Hossam Hassan and Mohamed Salah, to end this matter.”
The next stage
The Egyptian national team will play a friendly tournament, in two weeks, with the New Zealand, Tunisia and Croatia teams, in preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
For its part, Liverpool will enter the final stage of the season, competing for 3 championships: the English Premier League, which it leads by a point over Manchester City, the FA Cup, in which it reached the quarter-finals, and the Europa League, in which it will compete in the round of 16.
