Darwin Nunez, Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah wasted many opportunities in the match, and Liverpool failed to score for the second match in a row at home, as they lost last Thursday to Atalanta 3-0 in the European League.
A number of Liverpool fans believe that the club should sell the Egyptian winger when the summer transfer window opens.
The “Sports Bible” website published the opinions of Liverpool fans on the “X” application, as one angry fan posted, “Salah must be sold as soon as possible,” and another added, “It is time to sell Salah.”
A third wrote: “We have useless players at the end of the season. Salah must be sold, Diaz should be put on the bench, and Gabko should be relied upon.”
While another simply said, “I hope Salah is sold in the summer, it’s over.”
Despite his suffering in recent weeks, Salah is still one of Liverpool’s highest-scoring players, having scored 23 goals in 36 matches in all competitions this season.
