The Historic Jeddah Program of the Ministry of Culture launched the third edition of the programs for the Ramadan season 1445/2024, which continues throughout the days of the holy month, and includes a wide range of cultural, artistic and entertainment programs, providing rich experiences for visitors, and reviving traditional customs and traditions during the blessed month.

Every year during the Ramadan season, the Historic Jeddah District receives many visitors, due to its heritage atmosphere, its aesthetic architectural character, and the landmarks it contains with important historical connotations, historical restaurants serving distinctive popular dishes, and historical markets in which… Various types of products, materials, and historical squares.

Visitors will also enjoy many distinctive programs, as they can observe the moon through modern telescopes in the “Al-Marqab” experience, and explore Saudi cuisine through the “Flavors from Our Regions” live cooking program, while “Sofrat Al-Thuraya” receives guests of the region throughout the month for breakfast and suhoor. The “Lighthouse of Art” initiative offers educational workshops in interactive ways.

The “Al Noor” exhibition takes visitors on a journey to learn about the aspects of Ramadan in various parts of the world, and Barhat Al Falah Bazaar “Ramadan Shops” will provide traditional products to shoppers, in addition to various activities dedicated to children, including storytelling, performances, folk games, and artistic workshops.
It is noteworthy that parking lots have been allocated throughout the historic Jeddah area, “Al-Balad,” where visitors will be able to use reciprocating golf carts to facilitate their access to the region’s landmarks and sites of cultural and recreational activities, according to SPA.
