Mr. Ali Abdulaziz Janahi, Member of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and Head of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s delegation to the First Gulf Youth Games, stressed the importance of the honorable representation of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the tournament and the provision of distinguished levels that keep pace with the sporting boom that Bahraini sports is experiencing during the prosperous reform era under the leadership of His Majesty the King, may God protect him. This came during his visit to the cycling and triathlon teams, which are preparing to participate in the first Gulf Youth Games, which will be held in the United Arab Emirates from April 16 until next May 2, in the presence of members of the administrative and media delegation, representatives of the cycling and triathlon federations, and the technical and administrative staff.
Mr. Ali Abdulaziz Janahi was keen to have the cycling and triathlon teams participate in the training session and ride the bike to encourage the players and raise their morale.
After that, he met with the players and learned about their latest preparations for the Gulf tournament and the extent of their readiness to participate. He urged them to exert more effort and giving in order to raise the nation’s flag and return with a new achievement for Bahraini sports, especially in light of the great interest and support that the cycling and triathlon sports receive from His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad. Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
He affirmed the support of the Olympic Committee and the administrative mission for the two teams, which paves the way for them to achieve the best results and levels.
