Hussein said in a statement to the On Time Sports channel on Friday: “I was asked to modify the schedule and develop a scenario for the Egypt Cup final match between Al-Ahly and Zamalek on March 8,” instead of the previous date of March 13, explaining that the host country for the match will be “Saudi Arabia.”
Zamalek reached the final by defeating Pyramids on penalties 4-3 after a 3-3 draw, while Al-Ahly booked its ticket with an easy victory over Enppi 3-0.

He referred the file to the Ministry of Youth and Sports to obtain official approvals from the state’s leaders, noting that the final witness the presence of a representative of the Presidency of the Republic.
The Federation agreed to an offer that includes financial benefits for the Federation and the two clubs amounting to one and a half million dollars.
Al-Ahly holds the record for the number of coronations (38), compared to 28 for Zamalek and 6 for both Al-Tersana and Al-Ittihad of Alexandria.
