The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, Wael Al-Mubarak, and the Minister of Works, Ibrahim Al-Hawaj, made a field visit to the sixth district in the Northern Governorate, to see the municipal projects and infrastructure development projects that are being implemented within the third package projects for developing roads, sanitation, and municipalities, in the presence of the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, representative of The constituency is Abdulnabi Salman, and the head of the municipal council of the northern region, Sayed Shubar Al-Wadaei, along with the municipal member of the constituency, Abdullah Ashour.
The field visit was attended by the Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works Sheikh Mishal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the General Director of the Northern Region Municipality Lamia Al-Fadala, the Assistant Undersecretary for Roads at the Ministry of Works Kazem Abdul Latif, the Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitation Fathi Al-Farea, in addition to the Assistant Undersecretary for Roads at the Ministry of Works Kazem Abdul Latif. For joint municipal services, Rawiya Al-Mannai, and a number of officials in the two ministries.
During the visit, Al-Mubarak confirmed the establishment of a new park in Complex 716 in the Ramli suburb area, noting that it will be built on an area of 3,624 square metres, and will include a 450-metre-long walkway, a games area with an area of 364 metres, and sports fields with an area of 232 square metres, and will include planting 228 trees. .
The Minister of Municipal Affairs stated that the Ramli afforestation project in Block 715 has an area of 12.8 square metres, and includes planting 2,511 trees.
During the visit, he also reviewed the afforestation plan in the sixth district of the Northern Governorate, which includes afforestation in 11 sites during which 8,195 trees will be planted.
During the field tour, the development work for the Aali Walkway Complex 732 was reviewed, which includes providing and installing a special floor for the walkway, rehabilitating buildings and facilities, providing and installing solar-powered lighting, in addition to establishing a water mist cooling sprinkler system, and installing additional security cameras.
For his part, the Minister of Works explained that the implementation of a number of infrastructure and sanitation projects in the sixth district of the Northern Governorate comes to keep pace with the urban development witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain, which contributes to enhancing the quality of public services and meeting the aspirations and needs of the people of the region, pointing to the work on implementing the construction project. The sewerage network in the Salmabad area in Block 708 and the Ramli area in Block 715, which will serve 103 properties in the area, stressing that the project is currently in the design stage, and work will be implemented on its implementation after all procedures are completed.
He explained that the Ministry recently completed the project to establish a sanitation network in Block 742 in the A’ali area, which contributed to providing service to 95 properties, stressing the Ministry’s endeavor to provide sanitation service to all regions in the Kingdom of Bahrain, to keep pace with the urban expansion that the Kingdom is witnessing in various governorates. He stressed the continuation of work on implementing projects to develop the road network in various governorates of the Kingdom, to ensure the flow of traffic and raise the level of traffic safety on the road, in addition to paving roads (4261) and (4270).
