After the fraud (withdrawing 2,000 dinars from my account), and after reporting the matter to the beneficiary bank, an amount of 1,005.968 dinars was recently recovered.
When they asked for the rest of the amount, this was their response to the bank of which I am a customer: “We would like to draw your attention that the bank contacted the beneficiary bank on October 18, 2023 to request the return of the remaining amount of 994,320 Bahraini dinars, as the response was received by the beneficiary bank on October 18, 2023 that it would not The remaining amount, 994,320 Bahraini dinars, will be recovered for the reason that the amount was used by the fraudster.”
Accordingly, how can an amount be recovered from a fraudster who has been known to them without any accountability or supervision, so that he neglects and bypasses the laws and the interests of customers in other banks?
If the bank is serious about returning the amount, the answer is not that the amount will not be recovered so easily, because that is a violation of all the norms and laws that the Kingdom has established to protect the interests of citizens.
I hope that the beneficiary bank will kindly return the rest of the amount, appreciating and appreciating your efforts in this matter, and may you stay safe.
All previous correspondence, whether via email or phone, is documented.
