The World Taekwondo Federation chose Bahraini international referee Mohammed bin Jamal as a member of the oversight and supervisory committee for the Taekwondo competition at the 2024 Paralympic Games scheduled to be held in the French capital, Paris.
This appointment confirms the distinguished position of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the game of Taekwondo in general, and international referee Mohammed bin Jamal in particular, due to his extensive and high-level experience in administrative and technical matters related to the game of Taekwondo, which is added to his international record, by being the first A Bahraini and Gulf national who is a member of the Taekwondo game is appointed as a member of the oversight and supervisory committee for the Taekwondo competitions in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Referee Bin Jamal is an expert in taekwondo at the local and Gulf levels and an active member at the Asian and international levels. He is the head of the Asian Parataekwondo Committee, and holds many international technical and administrative accreditations issued by the World Taekwondo Federation as a first-class international referee, and one of two in the Gulf as a lecturer and technical delegate. He holds the third level, “highest degree,” as an international coach, in addition to his participation in most important continental and international tournaments as a referee, supervisor, and president of some tournaments.
On this occasion, international referee Mohammed bin Jamal expressed his thanks to the World Taekwondo Federation for the assignment, stressing that this assignment reflects the confidence of the World Taekwondo Federation in Bahraini cadres and the technical capabilities and expertise they possess that contribute to the development of this game, thanks to the follow-up given by the wise leadership and the sports leadership. And support for the sport and all its members, which pushed these cadres to assume a great continental and international position, thus reflecting the progress in Bahraini sports.
